Old Midleton Distillery
Old Jameson Midleton Distillery, 15 minutes from the Garryvoe Beach Homes, is located in a wonderful restored Grain store. A guided tour details the story of Irish whiskey with an audio-visual presentation and a sampling of the renowned Jameson Whiskey in the bar.
Titanic Experience
Titanic Experience Cobh is a new permanent visitor attraction which opened on February 1st 2012 in Cobh, Co. Cork, Ireland. Situated in the original offices of The White Star Line, the location marks the departure point for the last 123 passengers who boarded the Titanic on its fateful maiden voyage to America.
Cloyne
Cloyne round towerThe nearby village of Cloyne is a fine example of a surviving round tower. This particular round tower is thought to have been a place of refuge for Christian monks at times of attack and plunder.
